WHO lanserar MedZero – ett nytt klimatberäkningsverktyg!

Last week, MedZero was launched at the World Health Assembly. The platform allows users to enter the name of a drug, device, procedure, diagnostic test, or service and receive an estimate of its lifecycle-associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, along with a red-yellow-green assessment of estimate quality. It draws from a curated set of lifecycle assessments (LCAs) where available and uses a multi-region input-output (MRIO) model to fill data gaps. Estimates are customized to the user’s location.
