Tomorrow´s Green and Equitable Hospital
As the climate crisis accelerates, its effects on public health are becoming increasingly clear—driving up illness, care needs, and environmental emissions. At the same time, the healthcare sector itself contributes to the problem, accounting for 4.4% of global emissions. How can we break this cycle?
This event brings together international experts from clinical practice, policy, and research to explore how healthcare can become both greener and fairer. Through two sessions—Building a green healthcare system through circularity and climate management and Choosing Wisely as a driver for equality—we’ll examine data-driven and AI-supported solutions, practical sustainability initiatives, and strategies for promoting inclusive, evidence-based care.
